Satyenkumar Patel

British menswear designer Satyenkumar Patel was one of the big names on the Central Saint martins MA when he graduated in 2001. Focusing on men’s style tailoring and ready to wear his first design position landed him on the mainline collection at Versace in Milan. After a four season stint working at Versace he returned to London to consult for a three times New Generation award winning designer before going it alone.

Using his first name Satyenkumar created his first solo test-collection for Autumn/Winter 2006/07. It was greatly welcomed by editors and buyers also attracting the attention of Harrods who exclusively sold the label’s first two seasons. The collection a combination of tailored casual-wear fused with tuxedo style dressing a modern hybrid for eccentric English play-boys formed the foundation of the brand aesthetic.
